The Bounded Observer · science from within
The connected programme

One observer.
Many ways to test its view.

The six gates are the main path through this project. This library keeps the wider research record close: papers across mathematics, biology, physics, AI and mind; predictions that can lose; and laboratory results that did.

Its source inventory was reviewed on 13 September 2026. Those records are historical source receipts, not a claim that every paper satisfies the Universal Hyperbolic Law or that later online versions are identical. The current atlas classifies each work against the law's conditions.

Across the papers

Eight connected contributions

These are the earlier programme's organising questions, now placed within the six gates. Each card names what it contributes and where its reach stops. The dated source is the original synthesis.

Historical synthesis · Gates 3–5 · Conditional mathematics

Composition

A bounded effect needs an admitted operation before it earns an additive chart. The five-flow result has a marked-triple scope; boundedness alone selects neither artanh nor one universal geometry.

Aczél-family composition ↗
Historical synthesis · Gate 2 · State theorem

Predictive state

Two equal-looking presents can retain different futures. The repair is an additional, measurable distinction tested on untouched challenges, with matching error and intervention scope declared.

Biological state sufficiency ↗
Historical synthesis · Gates 2–3 · Temporal action

Order and history

An exposure total erases sequence. It is adequate only when the actions support that compression; an order reversal tests the specific summary, not every possible scalar model.

Predictive Closure ↗
Historical synthesis · Gates 2 and 6 · Biological models

Capacity and reserve

A high antioxidant fraction need not mean a large pool, fast regeneration or time left to rescue. Clinical forecasts remain conditional, and model recovery of known patterns is not new clinical validation.

Glutathione model ↗
Historical synthesis · Gates 1–2 · Identifiability

Hidden variables

Ecology, genetics and cognition each show ways a familiar measurement can erase a decisive variable. Their shared question is about observation; it does not imply one hidden physical mechanism.

Ecological example ↗
Historical synthesis · Gate 6 · Reported analyses

Negative evidence

A fitted model can leave its mechanism unidentified. Exoplanet, quantum-archive and prime analyses have separate limits; manuscript-reported results are not independent replications by this site.

Exoplanet example ↗
Historical synthesis · Gates 3 and 6 · Prospective biology

Viable action

Information matters when a feasible measurement reveals it while an action can still help. A static action cover is not automatically a sequential controller or a biological failure probability.

From state to action ↗
Historical synthesis · Gates 1 and 6 · Evidence authority

Warranted claims

A proposal, source support, warranted assertion and permission to act are separate. The finite AI prototype has checks, but has not established broad superiority or universal truth.

Earlier hosted exhibits

Where the wider work appeared

The prior Boundedness Atlas offered four hosted routes. Their availability and access can change, so this library keeps the essential source and prediction records within the Bounded Observer. The older exhibits remain linked as dated presentations with their original scope and terms.

Biology

The recovered-present design, reserve ledger and negative-result cases asked whether a feasible additional measurement can reveal useful remaining capacity.

Results and instruments

The experimental record

Recovery Lab and Virtual Cell retain failed gates; Cancer Lab, Active Context and IDA retain their stated limits. The Laboratories page brings their results, sources and next questions into one place.

The observer–world loop

World → accessible signal → retained record → estimated state → future law → feasible decision → changed world. The earlier 15-relationship honesty ledger names the assumptions and failure tests at each link. Its nine-part observer lens gives the underlying source pages.

This is a programme map. It does not establish a neural theory of consciousness, transfer equations across domains or turn a working simulation into a discovery. The six gates above are the current test sequence.

Dated source receipts

Find a paper or a prediction

Search the 41 paper records and the 82 prediction records by title, domain, original ID or SSRN number. Paper entries retain their source PDF hashes and the pages indexed for prediction-bearing passages. Prediction entries retain original page references and proposed loss conditions. These are records of what the September inventory said; use the current atlas for the Bounded Observer's updated verdict.

What the receipts establish

The 41 records include earlier versions and related papers. The 41 research families and 41 original numbered items overlap; they are not 82 independent discoveries. The 471 indexed main-text pages are a retrieval aid, not proof that every possible prediction was found. A source hash identifies the supplied PDF bytes. It does not verify proofs, novelty or the latest online revision.

The complete original inventory includes author manuscript passages and keeps its original publication terms. This site's compact derivative deliberately omits those passages. The individual papers and third-party sources retain their own rights; the repository's general text licence does not relicense original manuscripts.
